My mission is to empower women to take the best care of their mind and body by encouraging food and lifestyle choices that improve their mood, increase their energy, enhance their body image satisfaction, and allow them to be the best role model for their children.
I believe that every body deserves to live a life brimming with health and happiness, and incorporate actions to enrich their lives rather than create a feeling of deprivation. What I have noticed is that too often, women delay their possibility for happiness until an ‘ideal weight’ or ‘perfect body’ is attained. I work within a Health At Every Size framework, which “acknowledges that well-being and healthy habits are more important than any number on the scale”. You can learn more about HAES here and here.
In my health coaching program, I help women to accept their body, eat mindfully and intuitively, recognise hunger cues, ditch the moral labels from food, nurture themselves compassionately, manage stress, and move their body in pleasurable ways. We work on breaking down barriers to health behaviour adoption using positive psychology principles and a strengths based approach to help women appreciate themselves holistically and ditch diets for good!
